Today we have worked with a mental training form called commuicology a theory where communication is the instrument and transformation is the goal. I have the capability to reprocess bad memories that happened for a long time ago, which creates anxiety and puts me in a bad mood.
Communicology is a result of comparison, evaluation and screening of decades of research within pedagogies, coaching, therapy, wellness and conflict resolution. Today we worked with techniques that you can use on yourself to work with different bad and good memories. We focused on looking at different incidents in a third persons perspective, which helped me to look at my old me with a new distance. Furthermore we did a test were we visualized the same bad memories or regrets, but instead we figured ourselves as how the persons we are today would have acted in the same situation.
The training gave me a new skill to be able to separate the old me from the person that I am today, which I think is important when bad memories appears.
